Located just under 5 miles from Tiverton, Lower Bradley is a picturesque double fronted thatched farmhouse believed to date back to the early 1700's which still retains many of it's original features. It occupies a commanding position with stunning views out and over the valley through which the River Dart meanders. The property has been modernised and enhanced by the current owners and makes a wonderful family home with the opportunity to make use of the different areas of land for recreation. It is accessed via a private driveway (owned by the property and shared by one other) up to the house and gardens.

The house itself has a storm porch and entrance hall giving access to the sitting room on one side and the dining room on the other, and stairs leading to the first floor. Both reception rooms benefit from fantastic views through the large sash windows. The sitting room is double aspect and has a fire place. The dining room has exposed original beams and an inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove and original bread oven. The kitchen dining room is accessed from here and enjoys views out onto the garden. There is an oil fired Aga used for cooking and hot water, a good range of wall and base units and exposed beams. Doors from here lead to the rear passage with cloakroom and also to the utility and useful additional storeroom.

Upstairs there 3 spacious double bedrooms one with en-suite shower room, a single room and family bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have fireplaces and built in wardrobes. The far reaching views can be really enjoyed from the upstairs rooms. The bathroom has been recently refurbished and has useful built in storage cupboards.

Outside the mature gardens are to the front, back and side of the property and have large flower beds and raised vegetable beds and there is a cobbled courtyard between the house and barn. The 20 acres of land is made up of approximately 8 acres of deciduous woodland with pathways leading through which has provided a superb playground for the owners sons as they grew up with many summer nights of 'wild camping'. The rest is gently sloping and level pasture land which slopes down to the river Dart where the wildlife is in abundance.

There is a useful barn with a large wood store in one end and a car port at the other which has the potential to be converted to an annexe, holiday let or home office (subject to the relevant planning permissions).
