Property description

An individual detached bungalow which has been extended and refurbished by the current owners to provide spacious accommodation. There are three double bedrooms, with an en-suite to bedroom three in addition to a stylish bathroom. There is also a lounge/dining room, breakfast kitchen and utility.

Accommodation

This is a spacious detached bungalow set in open countryside which has been extensively refurbished throughout over a recent period by the current owners. The property boasts a high specification throughout and has a lounge/dining room and dining kitchen in addition to a utility room and there are three bedrooms, a bathroom and en-suite shower room set around a central entrance hall. The property sits in a good size plot with ample parking and a garage with a good size lawned rear garden with decked area and there are open views to both the front and rear elevations across Lambley Dumbles. The property is sold with no upward chain and we would strongly recommend an internal inspection as we believe it will appeal to a number of markets.

You enter the property to the front elevation where a timber panelled entrance door with opaque leaded glazed panels provides access to a t-shaped entrance hallway which has Oak strip flooring and access to the roof space. Panelled doors from the hallway lead to all three bedrooms, the bathroom and a garage and glazed double doors lead to the lounge/dining room.

You enter the lounge/dining room to the dining area where there is a radiator and space for a good size dining table. As you move into the lounge area of the room you enter into the extended element of the property, which boasts a feature vaulted ceiling and there are glazed French doors to the side elevation with a window overlooking the rear garden. The focal point of the lounge area is the burning coal effect gas fire set to a fireplace with hearth and back panel and there is a further radiator in addition to wall light points. From the lounge area a panelled door in turn leads to the dining kitchen.

The dining kitchen has been fitted with a range of Oak panelled base and eye level units with granite work surfaces with an inlaid stainless steel sink with routed drainer and feature mixer tap. There are integrated appliances to include a double electric oven and four ring gas hob with stainless steel and glazed canopy extractor in addition to a dishwasher. There is also space for an American style fridge freezer. The kitchen has a vaulted ceiling with LED spotlights and a Velux window and there is tiled flooring flowing throughout with glazed French doors overlooking and leading to the rear garden and a further opaque window to the side elevation. A panelled folding door in turn leads to a utility room which has a work surface with provision and plumbing for an automatic washing machine beneath with a base level and double eye level cupboard and there is also tiled flooring and a radiator.

The bungalow benefits from three double bedrooms with bedrooms one and two being to the front elevation, both having bow windows overlooking the front garden in addition to coving to the ceiling and radiators.

Bedroom three has coving to the ceiling and a radiator with a window overlooking the rear decking and garden space and a panelled door leads to an en-suite shower room with glazed shower cubicle with folding door and mains pressure shower with rainwater showerhead. There is also a wall mounted washbasin and WC with tiled flooring and a wall mounted towel radiator in addition to an extractor and an opaque window to the rear of the property.

The bathroom has a white suite with panelled bath, wall mounted washbasin and WC. The current owners have designed a light well with remote control Velux window above the bath area and the room also comes with LED spotlights and an extractor in addition to tiled flooring and a wall mounted towel radiator.

Outside, as previously mentioned, the property comes with a good size driveway providing ample parking for numerous vehicles and the front garden has a Beech hedgerow separating it from the road with a lawned garden space with established plants and shrubs set to borders. There is an open view across to fields to the front elevation and a driveway in turn provides access via an electric roller door to the garage which has both power and lighting and houses the combination central heating boiler.

The rear garden has a decked area to the side of the lounge with the rear garden being predominantly lawned with borders having established plants and shrubs and enclosed by a combination of hedgerow and timber fencing with open views over the Dumbles to the rear.

In conclusion, it is worth noting the property comes with combination gas central heating, UPVC sealed unit double glazing and an alarm system and five camera system for added security in addition to PVC fascia and soffit boards. There are also electricity points in the front and back garden and the bungalow was re-rendered four years ago with a product called Webber which does not require any painting. Given the level of specification, we would encourage further investigation and ask you to book a viewing at the earliest opportunity.
