More extensive shopping facilities can be found in Windsor 8 miles to the North and Camberley 6 miles to the West.
Junction 3 of the M3 is about 4 miles away which gives good access to the West Country in one direction and central London in the other. Terminal 5 at Heathrow airport is about 11 miles away.
Leisure facilities in the general area include some of the finest golf clubs in the world - Wentworth, Sunningdale and Swinley Forest, there are several health and tennis clubs, leisure centres, cinemas and theatres and you could even brush up your winter skills at the dry ski slope or try your hand at Polo.
The area also has an excellent choice of highly regarded private schools and colleges such as St Mary's, St George's, Heathfield, lvs Ascot, The Marist, Hallgrove and Papplewick. A little further away are Eton and Wellington Colleges.
