This an absolutely marvellous two double bedroom apartment located in the lovely small town of Lostwithiel. The apartment is brand new and has benefited from an innovative approach in its design and is presented to a high specification.

There are two double bedrooms, an opulent family bathroom boasts a bath and separate shower cubicle, a built-in vanity sink and W/C. The lounge/diner is very large and leads directly to the rear of the property into a luxurious top of the range Wren kitchen fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and fridge/freezer and finished with quartz counter tops. Internally other benefits include a connection to Sky TV, gas central heating, double glazing and down lighting throughout and its own private entrance.

Outside the apartment boasts its own large patio/terrace with direct access to an allocated parking space in the secure gated car park.

The historic Stannary town of Lostwithiel dates back to the twelfth century and is perfectly situated in the Fowey river valley with transport links including easy access to the A30 and a main line railway station linking Paddington to Penzance for those needing to commute.

The rich history of the town is still very prominent and important to many of its residents. Buildings such as Restormel Castle and St Bartholomew’s church attract a number of visitors but in modern day Lostwithiel the vast array of antique and curio shops, restaurants, public houses and shopping creates a vibrant yet warm atmosphere.

Arguably the most appealing attraction in the town is the River Fowey and the ancient Norman Bridge that has been in use since the thirteenth century. There is a small ‘beach like’ area by the bridge which has provided residents with safe swimming for the children for many generations.

There are a number of beautiful local walks including along the river through Coulson Park, up Restormel Road to Restormel Castle notable for its perfect circular construction and the beautiful National Trust Lanhydrock boasting a magnificent Victorian country house, verdant gardens and wooded estate.

Slightly further away the choice of attractions are vast with the Eden Project, Heligan Gardens, both the North and South Coast of Cornwall and numerous beaches just a short drive away to name a few.

For those looking for golf there are a number of acclaimed golf courses nearby including Lostwithiel Golf Club, Lanhydrock Hotel and Golf Club and The Jack Nicklaus course at St Mellion.

Lostwithiel really is a special place to live with so much on offer for all walks of life and all ages, whether you are looking for the perfect abode, home away from home or an investment property The Talbot will undoubtedly suit your needs.
