This property is offered at a reduced price for people aged over 60 through Homewise´s Home for Life Plan. Through the Home for Life Plan, anyone aged over sixty can purchase a lifetime lease on this property which discounts the price from its full market value. The size of the discount you are entitled to depends on your age, personal circumstances and property criteria and could be anywhere between 8.5% and 59% from the property´s full market value. The above price is for guidance only. It is based on our average discount and would be the estimated price payable by a 69-year-old single male. Property description

Well, where do you start? Is it the fantastic views across Telscombe Tye and towards the sea, is it the six bedrooms or is it the open plan living? If that is not enough throw in a sauna, a lovely place to steam away all of those stresses from daily life. When the owners bought this they had a vision for turning it into their perfect family home. It has undergone a complete modernisation and has even been extended to add the third floor; it simply is a stunning family home that must be seen.

On the ground floor you have the perfect place for the family to all come together with a luxury modern kitchen area where you can rustle up those family meals while everyone is close by putting the world to rights. With floor to ceiling windows there is a lovely view out across the rear garden and doors leading out onto the decking, there is even a hidden utility room where you can hide away all of those useful bits and pieces.

You will find four of the six bedrooms up on the first floor, bedroom one having its own en-suite and sauna and leading out onto a balcony where you can sit back and really enjoy the ever changing vista of the sea and the Tye. A perfect opportunity for students, where they can have their own space and come and go as they please, would be the second floor where there are two bedrooms and a shower room.

The rear garden is a mixture of lawn and patio with some mature trees and shrubs, a great place for the children to run about.

What the Owner says:
We bought this property over three years ago and have done a lot of work to it. We found that it really works well for our family.

We love family get-togethers and the downstairs gives us a lovely place to entertain.

We haven’t been here that long but the neighbours have been great and we have found a lovely friendly atmosphere in Saltdean.

We are now looking at downsizing as some of our children have flown the nest but we will be sad to leave what we have considered to be our wonderful family home.
