Property description

If you're looking for a large three double bedroom house in a great location then this could be the one!

If you're a young or growing family, or someone who wants space, then this house and location are certainly worth considering. You're close to parks, sport centres, local shops and transport links into the city centre and Gunwharf Quays. Southsea is just a short drive or bus ride away. There are Ofsted rated good local schools nearby from Preschools to Primarys, and Secondarys too. It's very close to the A27/M27 and A3 if you need to escape from Portsmouth and let's face it who doesn't from time to time!

This house is full of personality and has so much potential. Modern bathroom, downstairs toilet, and kitchen mix seamlessly with a wide range of original features, including stained glass windows, that have been lovingly maintained. Each room has a fireplace and most boast a large original fitted cupboard with lovely detail. There is some fantastic original wooden flooring and laminate through the neutral hallway downstairs too. The addition of the sun room at the rear of the property brings the garden and back room together.

There is plenty of scope for extending up into the loft, which is partially boarded and insulated, too.

The garden has sunshine all day long, when the sun is out that is! There are plenty of mature shrubs and it is framed by a neighbour's tree which adds greenery but does not add shade

.**A Competitively priced great property and certainly worth checking out. **

What the Owner says:
We moved in 24 years ago with a baby and my boys have had the space to grow up here. Now it's time for us to downsize and begin the next part of our journey! I've loved this house and it reflects our life and travels.

If you're looking for the magnolia dream you'll need to buy a few tins of paint! I fell in love with it and it's original features when we first viewed it and I hope you will too. It's been a great family home for all of us. The house is so close to the parks and sports centres at Alexandra Park. Whether you've got dogs or children or you just enjoy the outdoors, then it's a great area where you can spend time and pretend you're not in a city!
