Beautiful rarely available Beach Hut on sought after Hove seafront. Being sold fully and newly repainted with red and yellow circus-striped door painted white throughout with new flooring, storage cupboards, tiled worktop and shelving suitable for housing a Calor gas grill.

The hut has four securing bolts on inward opening double doors with two rust-proof padlocks. There are also slot-in cloth wind breakers which attach to beach hut sides.

Hove Lagoon is a popular and much visited recreational beachside area with Fatboy Slim's Cafe, toilets, skatepark, children's playground and paddling pool, and mini golf just behind beach hut 401. The hut looks out across the English Channel, is steps away from a pebbled beach and the sea.

There is metered parking on Kingsway and some free local off-main road parking in the residential streets of west Hove. Hut owners have occasional vehicle access to the seafront for maintenance purposes only. The huts have no electricity or running water, but there is a standpipe tap nearby for running cold water and regularly emptied bins for domestic rubbish.
The King Alfred Centre Swimming Pool in Hove is 15 mins walk east and the beginning of Shoreham harbour 20 mins walk west. The main Brighton promenade is a 30 minute leisurely stroll.

Owners can use the adjacent promenade for bathing and barbecuing, but owners must not sleep in their huts or trade from them. They are required as part of the agreement to keep huts well-maintained, in good state of repair and made using the set plans and dimensions and painted in specified paint colours available from local stockists.

* B&hcc will not issue licenses for multiple site ownership.
* Applicants must be Brighton & Hove residents.
* Beach hut owners must have their hut for at least three years before they can sell.

The licence fee for 2017/18 is £367.20 including VAT. And for selling on the council charge a further admin fee of £82.
