Property description

No 7 Bristol Hill was built around the 1900's and was the village shop for nearly 90 years and was a café and stores during both world wars.
There is a lovely photograph in the local newspaper archive of a queue of people outside the shop just after the blizzard in January 1987, when provisions were brought in by boat from Harwich after the village was a cut off.
It closed as a shop (Barkers ) in 1988 and became a private house from then on - but the council have indicated they would be glad to give consent to it reverting to a shop if ever the owner occupier wanted to discuss with them.
Located within the quaint village of Shotley Gate, the two rivers meet at the point at Shotley Gate and merge to join with the North Sea. With the Docks at Felixstowe on the north bank and Harwich Harbour to the south, the views on offer are spectacular to behold.
Additionally there are a lot of well marked cycle paths and walks in the area, so something for everyone.
This home also offers a detached garage to the rear of the property along with off street parking and no onward chain, along with features of open fireplaces and exposed brick wall, in the bathroom, due to the location and style of house early viewing is highly recommended.
