Property description

Family living and plenty of character are just two of the things you can look forward to with this impressive home. From the minute you pull up onto the driveway, you can instantly notice the period features. Sash windows, plantation shutters, high ceilings and spacious rooms all add to the charm of living here.

If you like entertaining then you will be blown away by the kitchen and dining areas as they offer a superb space and are perfect for get-togethers and dinner parties. With the open plan layout, the chef of the house can still socialise with everyone at the table whilst rustling up something to eat in the bright kitchen area. In the warmer months, you can throw open the double doors onto the garden and take your meals outside to enjoy in the garden. When it's time to relax, you can cosy up in the lounge which has lots of room for sofas and putting your feet up in style in front of the television with the family. The spotless bathroom is great to escape to for a well earned soak after a long day and If you find yourself with a house full there is plenty of room upstairs for everyone, with three generous bedrooms upstairs - definitely room for a growing family. Outside the family friendly garden is perfect for the kids to tire themselves out in as it offers plenty of lawn for them to play on. At the same time you can fire up the barbecue on the patio and invite friends and family over. Complete with a driveway for parking, you can leave the car at home and walk the kids to school or stroll to the station from here and get the fast train into London.

What the Owner says:
We totally fell in love with this house from the second we stepped through the door and for us it was a mixture of the location and period features that won us over.
We knew we wanted to start a family so the fact that it was also well situated for some superb schools was also another huge benefit.
Since living here we have replaced the boiler, had new carpets fitted, stripped the flooring and re-decorated pretty much every room.
We did think about staying here and applying for planning permission to extend as we do love the area but have decided to move instead.
