Property description

Purchasing this property with A lifetime lease

This property is offered at a reduced price for people aged over 60 through Homewise’s Home for Life Plan. Through the Home for Life Plan, anyone aged over sixty can purchase a lifetime lease on this property which discounts the price from its full market value. The size of the discount you are entitled to depends on your age, personal circumstances and property criteria and could be anywhere between 8.5% and 59% from the property’s full market value. The above price is for guidance only. It is based on our average discount and would be the estimated price payable by a 69-year-old single male. As such, the price you would pay could be higher or lower than this figure.

For more information or a personalised quote, just give us a call. Alternatively, if you are under 60 or would like to purchase this property without a Home for Life Plan at its full market price of £550,000, please contact Cubitt & West.

Property description

If you dream of your next home being both spacious throughout and having a 'light and airy' atmosphere then this duplex apartment could be just right for you. From the moment you enter there is an immediate feeling of comfort with plenty of space to spread out. The large sitting room is a real 'show stopper' and wouldn't be out of place in a four or five bedroom house, offering enough space for really comfortable sofas and chairs and with its sunny aspect you can enjoy sunlight right throughout the day and into the evening. The separate dining room is perfect for anyone that likes to entertain or could be an ideal games room if billiards or widescreen entertainment is more to your liking.

If you have ever tried to park in central Brighton then you will certainly appreciate having two allocated parking spaces which are almost right outside your front door.

Although this apartment is more than large enough to be a permanent home, second home buyers and buy-to-let investors may also want to take a look as there is a definite market here for holiday rentals offering the option of a second home with the added bonus of a valuable income.

What the Owner says:
We loved living here and knew it was a great property as it is perfectly located for us in the quiet side of the Marina. It is more like a house than an apartment and having three bathrooms / shower rooms has been a real bonus when having visitors.
It is so handy having such good facilities within the Marina and a great bus service into town which saves taking the car. We enjoyed being able to walk to the many restaurants and home again feeling safe and secure.
We have enjoyed relaxing on the two balconies and having a good view over the Marina. It was an amazing lifestyle change not a property purchase.
