Meadow and woodland
At the top of the property adjacent to the electric gates is an additional field gate which leads from the lane to a small paddock. From the paddock a further gate leads into the large flower meadow which is occasionally grazed by sheep or ponies but which is principally used for hay. Across the meadow from the house is a post and rail fence with a pedestrian gate to the deciduous woodland area where there are large natural granite boulders, pathways, an area where there is a fire pit and a small pond. Set at the edge of the woodland is an old pump house and inside is a composting toilet.
