Property description

This a very pretty three bedroom semi-detached double fronted period cottage style house located in the heart of the sought after village of Pitsford. The house is located in the heart of the village and is set back from the road with a gravelled driveway and a walled cottage style garden leading to a wisteria clad porch. This bright and deceptively spacious house has been completely modernised and renovated throughout to create a warm and welcoming home with many fine and interesting features. On the ground floor is a welcoming hallway which opens to a good size reception room with a feature exposed brick wall and wood burner stove this opens into the large conservatory which is used as a dining/sitting room as it has a feature dining table created from an old tree stump that was in the garden, there is also a separate snug/family room which again has another wood burner which leads through to a contemporary fitted kitchen/breakfast room with utility off.
On the first floor is a wide landing and three good size bedrooms and a smart modern family bathroom, the master bedroom is a great size and has an en-suite dressing area and shower room .
To the front of the house is a cottage style garden with off street parking and an adjoining garage. The rear garden is a real delight and very private with a large decked terrace, lawn surrounded by mature specimen plants, shrubberies and trees, a pond with bridge and water feature lead to a summer house.
Pitsford is a very popular and sought after village lying to the north of Northampton close to Pitsford Reservoir with its excellent trout fishing and sailing facilities. The village has a church and public house and is home to the independent Pitsford School. Northampton is only five miles away but there is good local shopping in Kingsthorpe about three miles away. The mainline station in Northampton is easily accessible with direct trains to Euston taking approximately 55 minutes, for road users the A14 connects to the M1.
