A commuter's dream. This house is tucked away in a peaceful, residential road but within a short walk of both Motspur Park and New Malden train station. If you need to get into London every day then this will be music to your ears as you can do so directly in just 25 minutes. Even Raynes Park is just 0.8 miles away and the A3 is accessible in seconds.
Throw into the equation the fact that there are excellent schools on offer too and the long term possibilities of extending (subject to the relevant consents) and you have a family home that is future proof in every way.
If you like entertaining, you'll love the layout downstairs. The lounge and dining areas have been combined into an impressive place to get together around the dinner table as the chef of the house conjures up a bite to eat for everyone. For a more cosy evening, you can retire to the lounge area to put your feet up with a cup of tea in front of the TV. If you find yourself with a house full, there is plenty of room upstairs for people to stay with brilliant room sizes arranged over 3 floors. The upstairs bathroom could soon be transformed into somewhere sleek and stylish to escape to as well.
Outside, the garden is just the place to unwind with room to set up the sun loungers or just enjoy family get-togethers with a barbecue. The space is vast and possibilities, endless. Complete with driveway for off road parking this really is a superb home that should not be missed!
What the Owner says:
I bought this house in 1979 and can remember walking through the door and just knowing that this was the one. We were planning on starting a family and lived locally so knew this location would be good for the schools and transport links. Here I am almost 40 years later in the same house - I guess that alone speaks volumes about how spacious and convenient this house has been for my family. I have done various things over the years including knocking through the lounge and dining room into one open plan space. I also added the central heating as there was none here when I got here! I have also recently replaced some windows. Circumstances have changed for me now and as such, I no longer need a big house like this.
