I bought this house in 1979 and can remember walking through the door and just knowing that this was the one. We were planning on starting a family and lived locally so knew this location would be good for the schools and transport links. Here I am almost 40 years later in the same house - I guess that alone speaks volumes about how spacious and convenient this house has been for my family. I have done various things over the years including knocking through the lounge and dining room into one open plan space. I also added the central heating as there was none here when I got here! I have also recently replaced some windows. Circumstances have changed for me now and as such, I no longer need a big house like this.
