Property description

Situated within the heart of Wanstead village is where you will find this superb Victorian semi detached home.

A location with a real sense of community and village feel, having the local newsagent just a stones throw away for your Sunday papers and your friendly 'local', the pubs The Duke and Nightingale, giving you the excuse for a swift half on the way home. Equally convenient is Wanstead High Street with a variety of independent boutiques, coffee shops and excellent restaurants.

The property is also close to the local community gardens which is ideal for the locals with their young children to meet and play.

This home has been well maintained by the current owners and has charm and character with a cosy feel throughout.

Having an open plan through lounge creates a great space to entertain family and friends. Three double bedrooms makes it easy to have guests stay over in comfort. The unusually large garden is perfect for barbecues on those hot summer months.

Those who commute to work are well catered for with both Snaresbrook and Wanstead Central Line stations being equal distance away and giving fast access into the City and West End.

What the Owner says:
Initially we were attracted to Wanstead because of the green open spaces, village feel and fast direct access to the City and West End.

Wanstead has surpassed our expectations. There is a real sense of community here.

There are many independent businesses on the High Street, including our own village butcher Ginger Pig which has a great range of produce. There is a large variety of coffee bars and good restaurants to meet family and friends.

We have great neighbours and will miss them dearly.
