What the vendor says - This has been the perfect family home with plenty of space for our family of five. When we arrived 16 years ago two of our three children were at Primary School. Just at the bottom of our long garden they had Picketts Meadow with its playground and field for ball games, a safe and easily accessed space in which to run around. Being 2 minutes from the station meant that getting to and from school was easy for them. Living on the friendly high street makes it easy to pop over the road for a pint of milk, loaf of bread and a newspaper. We have been self-employed in recent years and having a post office on the doorstep has been invaluable. We have many happy memories: Christmases gathered with extended family around the inglenook fireplace, playing music with friends in our music room, playing silly games with the children at the kitchen table, and seeing the seasons round in the beautiful cottage garden. Our needs, however, have changed. Our youngest has now left university and set up home, and we are just about to retire. We are ready to downsize and prepare for life's next adventure.
