Property description

Located in the picturesque settlement of Tarbet, a village that sits on the shores of Loch Lomond, Ballyhennan Crescent is a delightfully quiet and intimate development that enjoys a picturesque setting amidst woodland and the hills surrounding the village.

Number 51 is a delightful two storey semi-detached cottage that sits in lovely garden grounds that are mature, private and well laid out, with large expanses of lawn and trees providing privacy and screening. To the front and rear there are lovely views across the surrounding countryside and the hills.

Within the village there is a local primary school and train station which is on the West Highland line and the nearby towns of Arrochar, Luss, Balloch and Helensburgh are all within easy reach and provide a wide selection of amenities. The A82 which runs up the western shores of Loch Lomond links Tarbet to Dumbarton and Glasgow. The International Airport is also easily accessible via the Erskine Bridge.

Built in the early 1950s, the property offers spacious accommodation over its two floors and on entering there is an outer vestibule leading into a reception hall. From the hall, there is access to the lounge at the front of the house with lovely open views. To the focal point wall there is a wood burning stove. On the other side of the hall there is a formal dining room which has a built-in cupboard and to the rear of this is a downstairs bedroom which has two built-in wardrobes and again lovely views to the rear. The kitchen is well proportioned and has a door out to the side of the property and two windows to the rear. It is fitted with extensive wall mounted and counter level units and has space for all modern appliances. Under the stairs there is a deep storage area.

Moving on to the upstairs accommodation, the landing gives access to a sizeable master bedroom which has built-in wardrobes and a window to the side. There is a second double bedroom to the front of the house, again with built-in wardrobes and the third bedroom has “Velux” windows with views to the rear. There is a modern shower room with a walk-in shower enclosure, wc and vanity wash hand basin and next to this a separate wc compartment with wash hand basin. The property is warmed by a system of oil fired central heating and the windows are replacement, double glazed, sealed units.

The property has its own lock-up garage which is situated in a block adjacent and the communal grounds to the front of the property are shared ownership amongst all the residents in the crescent. EPC - Band E
