Property description

Purchasing this property with A lifetime lease

This property is offered at a reduced price for people aged over 60 through Homewise’s Home for Life Plan. Through the Home for Life Plan, anyone aged over sixty can purchase a lifetime lease on this property which discounts the price from its full market value. The size of the discount you are entitled to depends on your age, personal circumstances and property criteria and could be anywhere between 8.5% and 59% from the property’s full market value. The above price is for guidance only. It is based on our average discount and would be the estimated price payable by a 69-year-old single male. As such, the price you would pay could be higher or lower than this figure.

For more information or a personalised quote, just give us a call. Alternatively, if you are under 60 or would like to purchase this property without a Home for Life Plan at its full market price of £275,000, please contact Cubitt & West.

Property description

Perched at the top of Browns Lane is this well presented 3 bedroom terrace home. The location would suit many as it is a stone's throw from the local convenience store so grabbing those daily essentials is so easy. If you want to do a bigger shop then the town centre is only a few minutes away either by car or by foot and offers the choice of bigger stores and a selection of boutique stores. The local schools are also close by if you have children so this house could be perfect for a family.

Once inside you are greeted by a good size lounge, enough room for all the family and to the rear, the kitchen and dining areas, a great place for the family to all sit down together to eat. In the warmer months you can slide open the doors leading to the rear garden and enjoy some Al fresco dining on the patio or just soak up the sun while reading a good book. The garden is safe and secure so ideal for the children to play in.

Upstairs you will find the 3 bedroom's and the family bathroom. To the front is a small lawn area and to the rear behind the back garden is the garage en-bloc.

What the Owner says:
I have lived here for over 3 years now and like the fact I have the convenience store close-by handy for those everyday needs. Getting out and about is very easy, whether it be walking into the town or going further, and it is easy to get to the coast or any of the other local towns. I enjoy getting the train up to London on a regular basis and it only takes just over an hour. I also enjoy the walks around here, such as Buxted Woods and the famous Ashdown Forest, which is only a short distance away.
