The chalet is situated a short distance from the riverbank adjacent to the Dolguog Hall Hotel and Chalet Park. The Dyfi Estuary marks the southern border of the Snowdonia National Park and many of its scenic locations are within a short drive. The river Dyfi is, itself, well known for its salmon and sea trout fishing.

The cabin is built with insulated log effect walls. The low pitched roof, which has a covering of felt tiles and is also insulated and lined. There is double glazing throughout.

The chalet may be occupied all year but not as a principal residence.
