Property description

A light, bright three bedroom property in Amble has recently become available. The house has a lovely neat front lawned garden with a driveway leading down to the property. The Garage has been converted into a large storage room with up and over garage door and a utility room and WC.

Amble is a wonderful harbour town that hugs the river Coquet estuary at the edge of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A fantastic new development has recently opened on the harbour consisting of a seafood centre and 15 small retail units. The award winning marina is right on the doorstep and watersport enthusiasts should head to Coquet Shorebase Trust that offers activities such as sailing and kayaking. You are also only a five minute drive away from the stunning village of Warkworth, which is dominated by the majestic medieval Warkworth castle.

We enter the property and are welcomed into the main hallway with stairs leading off to the first floor. There is a window alongside the front door providing plenty of natural light. This is a nice and neutral, well decorated home. There is a large under stair cupboard providing you with a good storage space which could be used as a cloak cupboard.

The lounge can be accessed via the hallway and is a lovely spacious family reception room that has been very tastefully decorated. There are two windows, one overlooking the front of the property and another overlooking the driveway to the side. This room benefits from a gas feature fireplace.

At the rear of the property is the newly extended kitchen/diner, which is again a lovely light and bright space with two windows overlooking the garden to the back of the house. There is a pair of french doors providing access to the garden. The kitchen contains a good number of wall and base units with space and plumbing for a dishwasher. There is an aeg under bench electric oven and an aeg gas hob with built in extractor fan, and there is also space for a freestanding fridge/freezer. This kitchen is perfect for anyone who loves to cook, with plenty of workspace and storage. The floor is fully tiled and the dining part of the room is very spacious and a lovely addition to the property.

From the kitchen, there is a door to the utility room where there is space and plumbing for a washing machine and more wall and base units. Just off the utility is the newly repositioned downstairs WC. This contains a close coupled WC and a wall hung hand basin

The first floor landing is lovely and light with loft access and a large airing cupboard. On this floor are three bedrooms and a family bathroom.

The master bedroom is a good sized double with a large built in wardrobe and a good sized window that overlooks the front elevation. This room has an ensuite bathroom with a WC, a pedestal wash basin and a shower.

The second bedroom is another good sized double and is also nice and light with windows overlooking the rear gardens. As with the rest of the property it is decorated to a very high standard.

The third bedroom is a large single which again overlooks the rear garden.

The family bathroom has a bath with shower taps, WC, and a pedestal hand basin, with a window overlooking the gardens.

The rear garden is a really good size with block paving, perfect for alfresco dining or enjoying a good book in the afternoon sun. There is also a lawned area surrounded by flower beds planted up in a cottage garden style. The whole garden is fenced and secure, perfect for children or dogs.
