This four bedroom family home has plenty of space for all, with over 1400 square feet (or 136 square metres if you prefer) of internal floor area. It’s also beautifully presented, with a predominantly neutral colour scheme and quality fittings throughout. On the ground floor you’ll find a through lounge (with copious storage), study, ground floor shower room, and a wonderful kitchen, fitted with modern units and complete with integrated dishwasher, range cooker, American style fridge freezer and a built in breakfast bar. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms arranged over two floors. On the first floor there are two bedrooms (one with an amazing walk in wardrobe) and the uber chic family bathroom (check out the radio, phone connection, steam jets and mood lighting in the shower!), whilst the top floor houses two further bedrooms, including the master suite with its huge skylight and en suite shower room. To the rear is the private garden, with brick built outbuilding at the far end. Beautifully presented, beautifully thought through – what more could you possibly ask for…?
Nestling in a delightful corner of E17, this property is perfectly placed whatever your plans, thanks to its close proximity to Walthamstow High Street. Just a few moments walk from Queens Road station, and a few minutes walk from Central station, the daily commute could hardly be easier. But who wants to talk about work when there’s so much to see and do when the weekend comes? Why not wander up the High Street and take in a movie, and maybe grab a bite to eat afterwards at one of the many restaurants in The Scene or on Hoe Street. Walthamstow Village is the shortest of short strolls away, offering pubs and eateries aplenty, or maybe head down the High Street to The Chequers, where the Sunday roasts are a particular treat. If outdoor pursuits are more your cup of tea, then head over to the Wetlands Centre, or across the marshes to Springfield Marina, both of which offer wide open spaces and the possibility to see wildlife in the heart of the city. Whatever your choice, the location of this flat will definitely fit the bill…
In This Area - By Walthamstow Diary
Get off the tube at Walthamstow Central and find the world waiting for you. Honestly, this is no exaggeration - if you want something, you’ll likely find it not too far from the station. The market, the longest in Europe, is busy and thriving. Pick up fresh fruit and veg, or visit the rotisserie stall on a Saturday for the best pork or chicken baguettes in town. Next to the market we have a shopping centre packed with high street names, and right at the top of the High Street you’ll find the cinema and retail complex. Called The Scene, it is home to a ten screen Empire cinema, Pizza Express, and loads of other bars and restaurants. Just around the corner from this new cinema, is a very old one. The Granada opened in 1930, and after a long campaign by local residents reopened as a bar and live music venue. Now called Mirth, Marvel & Maud, this building is simply stunning. The hustle and bustle of the High Street is contrasted by the quiet residential streets that surround it. This part of Walthamstow really gives you the best of both worlds, a shopping hub, nightlife, and peace and quiet at home.
