EweMove - A gorgeous four-bed detached home in a lovely, residential area. With a garage, summer house and lots of driveway space...

We're in Colden Common to look at a stunning detached home with four bedrooms, in a quiet residential area and a peaceful atmosphere. There's local shop, great schools very close and you're not far from further amenities and facilities in the area. With the M3 to the west running north and south, there are great links to Winchester to the north and Southampton to the south for even more choice.

Our property today is a on a quiet street and from the path, we can see a large paved area bordered by hedges. There's room for three, maybe even four, cars to park here and there's also a run off from the road to the driveway where another vehicle could park as well as street parking. There is a garage down the side of the building, which is currently being used for storage. So, there's a lot of space to make use of.

Step through the front door into the hallway. You'll instantly notice the tiled floors and high ceilings, the latter a common feature throughout this home. The stairs to the first floor are ahead, with a door to the right leading to a front-facing study / family room, which enjoys plenty of light, and the hall continues past the stairs to lead to the living room, kitchen and dining area.

Continue down the hall, noting the door opposite for under stair storage, and take the first door on the left to reach the living room. This is front facing room with windows to the front of the property and the side, too. There's a wood-burning stove for character and warmth. At the back of the room are double glass-panelled doors to the dining room, which can be left closed or open as you need.

Follow the hall to the end for a great open plan kitchen and dining room. The tiled floor continues and there's a massive amount of floor and wall storage, light in colour to contrast the dark counters. There's a gas oven and hobs, butler-style sink and dishwasher. To the right of the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine, fridge, boiler and a downstairs bathroom with toilet and sink. There's also access to the side of the property.

On the left is the dining room, with the doors leading to the living room and plenty of space for a good-sized table and chairs. This leads you to the conservatory, with two walls made of windows for a lot of light and great views of the garden. You can also reach the garden from here, which we'll return to shortly.

Head back to the hall and take the carpeted stairs to the first floor. On the landing you'll see access to the attic above and a series of doors. We'll start with the one to our right.

This is a double bedroom with front-facing window and radiator underneath. There's inbuilt storage in the form of a wardrobe and plenty of light streaming through with room for furniture and a good bed. The next room, opposite the top of the stairs, is another double room. This one is rear facing with a radiator under the window and plenty of space to utilise for furniture and a large bed.

Follow the landing and the next door opens to the bathroom. Tiled floors, partially tiled walls, a glazed rear-facing window, toilet, sink, bathtub with wall-mounted shower complete this cosy suite.

At the end of the landing is another double room. This is also rear-facing and has a lot of room to make use of, as well as inbuilt storage. As with the other rooms, the window comes with a radiator underneath. The final room is the master bedroom. A front facing room with radiator under the window and built-in storage on two sides of the room. There's space for a huge bed and plenty of furniture without feeling cramped. You can also enjoy an ensuite in this room with toilet, sink and shower cubicle, as well as a glazed window for natural light.

Return to the conservatory and head into the lovely garden, with a patio area perfect for furniture, a large lawn, a summer house and access to the garage, with room for one car if desired, and the side of the building.

This is a fantastic home with a huge amount of space, lots of light and plenty of versatility. You have to see it for yourself so book a viewing before it's gone!
