A spectacular historic duplex apartment of unexpectedly impressive size, with an indulgent 2,100sq/ft of accommodation and panoramic views. Such space and period character provides a luxury lifestyle and makes this beautifully presented 3 double bedroom, 2 bathroom home a unique proposition with delightful shared gardens and a Share of the Freehold included.

Entering the flat you are welcomed by a spacious hallway and the immediate sense of being inside a rather grand house, with 10' high ceilings and a fabulous living room featuring a beautiful full-height window and views of the distant horizon. There is also a large kitchen/dining room with sash window overlooking the gardens plus a study and guest shower room/W.C. Upstairs is incredibly spacious with the huge landing area leading to 3 over-size bedrooms, a wonderful family bathroom with roll-top bath, large attic space and even access to a small roof area where you can sit out under the night sky in Summer.

Other features include direct access to delightful gardens (shared with only 2 other properties) as well as gas-fired central heating, and a large shared basement used for storage. The main roof was replaced in recent years and the property is beautifully decorated throughout so is ready for occupation. This really is a one-off property which deserves inspection to fully appreciate all of its' space and charm.

Harrow on the Hill is a desirable area which we call London’s forgotten village, with Conservation Area status protecting the delightful architecture, historic High Street and open spaces which give so much atmosphere. This combined with a fast commute to Central London using the frequent Metropolitan/Chiltern or Piccadilly Line services makes the Hill and surrounding areas very well connected and an excellent lifestyle choice.

Independent coffee bars, shops, pubs and restaurants mean there is little reason to venture away, but Harrow town centre at the foot of the Hill provides for every practical need with 2 covered shopping centres, a choice of major supermarkets and a multi-screen Vue Cinema. There are many excellent private, state and church schools locally as well as parks and golf courses to enjoy along with easy access to the major road network and all London airports.

Notes from the Owner;
Since moving in 14 years ago we have loved the space and homely feel of our “house in a house” that is so unique with its space and simply stunning views from our lounge. Number 3 has been our haven and oasis and we are very sorry to be leaving. The area is very friendly with good neighbours and lovely pubs and restaurants a stones throw away and also very easy to commute into central London.
