The Vendor's View

Shepherdswell is a very pretty and friendly village. The nearby co-op is great for picking up any essentials and there is a wide variety of clubs for both adults and children. Dover is around ten minutes away and Canterbury is a little further, so it is very easy to move around from here either by driving or public transport. The local primary school has a very good reputation, people have moved into the village for that reason and a lot of children go onto grammar schools from there, as did my two sons.
I think the nicest room in my home is the quite unconventional conservatory, it is very sunny, large and overlooks the back garden. It is the most social area of the house, especially when hosting as it opens to the decked terrace with a hot tub. With two sitting rooms and a dining room it is easy to house quite a few people or to move things around here, the spaces can be adapted to what you need them to be.
The four double bedrooms and two bathrooms add to the flexibility of the house. They have good space for storage, including the built-in wardrobe in the master bedroom. I’ve got a tandem garage and the drive provides space for four to five cars, which you access through electric gates at the front, so it safe and secure.
I have loved living here for the last 36 years and have been in the area for 44 years, so i’m not looking to move too far. This is an ideal house for bringing up a family but now it is the right time for me to downsize.
