Perfect first time buy or buy to let proposition – This is a very spacious, light and airy first floor flat, located in the ever popular Bedlington with its wonderful community spirit. This traditional, 2 double bedroomed first floor property is built in red brick with a slate roof, benefitting from full uPVC double glazing and all usual mains services are connected. Close to all local amenities and transport links.

Bedlington is a is a former mining town in Northumberland, approximately 10 miles (16 km) north of the nearest city, Newcastle upon Tyne and 4.5 miles (7 km) southeast of the county town of Morpeth. Other nearby places include; Ashington to the north northeast, Blyth to the east and Cramlington to the south.

The parish of Bedlington constituted the historic exclave of County Durham called Bedlingtonshire which is famous for giving its name to a breed of dog; the Bedlington Terrier.

The town has good public transport and commuter links and plenty of local shops including a supermarket and a post office and hosts a weekly market on Thursdays in the market place.

Bedlington is served by two secondary schools: Bedlingtonshire Community High School and St Benet Biscop Catholic Academy. Bedlington is also served by three primary schools: Bedlington Station Primary School, Stead Lane Primary School and St Bede's Primary School. One of the few middle schools left in England is Meadowdale Academy. The town of Bedlington also has two first schools: Whitley Memorial C of E School and Bedlington West End County First School.

Hartford Hall lies within the parish with much of the riverside land between Bedlington and the hall forming the Bedlington Country Park, a designated local nature reserve.

Entrance to the property is gained through a uPVC front door into a lobby area with the stairs straight ahead leading up to the accommodation.

At the top of the stairs there is a door leading to a very spacious lounge which is light and airy and has a large window over the rear elevation of the property, doors to the two double bedrooms are off to the right and there is a door through to the kitchen, which in turn leads on to the bathroom, on the left. The lounge also boasts; a lovely solid wood oak floor, a chimney breast with a feature fire and surround and has a double storage cupboard in one of the alcoves.

Both bedrooms are very generous double rooms, have windows over the front elevation of the property and are carpeted.

Back through the lounge and on to the galley style kitchen which benefits from the same oak flooring as the lounge and has; plenty of wall and base units in a wood effect finish with chrome handles and a black laminate complimentary work surface. There is a stainless steel sink with a mixer tap with a window over giving an aspect to the side of the property. There is also an integrated under counter electric oven and hob with an extractor over, integrated fridge freezer and the splash backs are finished with rectangular black tiles laid in a brick pattern.

From here there is a door through to the bathroom which is traditional in these properties. There is a white fitted suite with a wash hand basin, WC and bath with an electric shower over, there is also a modesty window overlooking the side elevation of the property. The room has white tiles to the two walls behind the sanitary ware and a grey grained wood effect aqua lock flooring.

This property offers a great opportunity for the first time buyer offering plenty of space and natural lighting. Equally, this would make a fantastic buy to let proposition to the discerning investor with it proven rental history and lack of forward chain.
