Standing Stones Barn is a Cumbrian Field Barn, of traditional stone and mixed rubble construction under a tile roof. Historically, the Barn has benefited from a selection of sizable openings which could be reinstated subject to the necessary planning consents.

The barn is located just off the unclassified road leading from the centre of the village south towards Layriggs Farm. The property extends to 0.02 of an acre, or thereabouts.

On completion of the sale, the successful purchaser would be required to erect and thereafter maintain a suitable livestock proof boundary fence, along the dashed red boundary marked on the Sale Plan.

Access to the rear of the property may be gained through the opening to the left hand side of the Barn.

Location
The property occupies a rural location on the north westerly periphery of the village of Kirksanton.
Kirksanton is an attractive village surrounding a village green, located about a mile from the sea on the South Western corner of Cumbria.

The village is situated just beyond the southern boundary of the Lake District National Park, under the sweeping slopes of Black Combe.

Nearby Millom provides a good range of shopping, leisure and educational amenities. Millom also has a railway station on the Barrow to Carlisle line. The coast line hereabouts is stunning, as are the fells and valleys of this corner of the Lake District.

Directions
From the A595 immediately south of Broughton-in-Furness follow the A595 in a south-westerly direction for approximately 7 miles to a t-junction. Turn left onto the A5093 Millom Road. After approximately one mile turn right into Kirksanton village. Follow the road passing the village green and the barn is straight ahead where the road veers sharply to the left.
