We feel that our home offers us a lot of things to do in the local and surrounding areas. We like the fact that there is a train station in Knottingley, a further three train stations in the neighbouring Town of Pontefract and that we can hop onto a bus or get onto the M62 or the A1 which are close by to visit our family and friends or to enjoy a day out in Leeds or at the seaside. There are plenty of local attractions, we are close to open countryside, cycle routes and there are walks close by. We enjoy going to the pubs and restaurants in the local area for meals out or just for a drink. There are good schools, colleges and various playgroups nearby for our children. There is a good choice of supermarkets including Morrisons, Lidl and Aldi.
