The exterior of the property offers much charm with its period stone construction, granite lintels and slate sills whilst the interior has been tastefully updated throughout. The accommodation briefly comprises: 18' kitchen; 18' lounge/ diner; three bedrooms and a well-appointed family bathroom. This property would seem ideal as family home, second home or investment. Viewing highly recommended. EPC F32.

Location and history No.2 Trigva Cottages is part of a hamlet of charming cottages and tasteful barn conversions, most formerly part of the historic Trevarno Estate.

The Trevarno estate, which was renowned for its prominent manor house, scenic grounds and charming lakeside Victorian boathouse has a fascinating and varied history. It is believed that the estate lands were initially developed by a Randolphus de Varno in the year 1246, with the first written references to a manor house appearing in 1296. Throughout the passing centuries the estate grew to become an important part of the local economy and a valuable source of employment. The estate ownership has passed through a succession of notable families, each of whom have made their own impact on the estate and as such, on the history of Cornwall.

Trevarno remained a private country estate until 1994, and from 1998 until 2011 enjoyed great success being open to the public as a tourist attraction. Since the estates closure to the public most of the farms and cottages, including No.2 Trigva Cottages, have been sold off separately with the main manor reverting back to being a private residence.

The historic market town of Helston is within approximately three miles of the property with its range of amenities and services including schools, doctor's surgeries, leisure centre and cinema. The coastal village of Porthleven famed for its picturesque harbour and golden sandy beach is approximately just four and half miles for the property.
