“I have always lived in the area and bought this house about 25 years ago. At the time it was in a very poor state and I spent a very considerable amount of time, money and effort renovating the whole property. We have loved living here and enjoyed entertaining both in the house as well as having large parties in the garden. It is a very warm and friendly house and we will be sad to leave but feel it is time to downsize and pass it on to another family.
The village is delightful and lies on the edge of the beautiful North Downs and there are plenty of places to go for country walks as well as to the seafront. Indeed, we can walk to the beach in Walmer or West Kingsdown in about 10 to 15 minutes. The village is very friendly with many activities taking place in the village hall on a regular basis and we have a good primary school as well as a pub you can stroll along to without having to worry about driving, For equestrian aficionados there is the ‘hack and tack' riding shop and the Bridleway Riding School in Walmer together with some excellent off road hacking.
The historic towns of Sandwich and Deal and quite close with Deal town centre just a couple of miles away. This lovely seaside town has a wonderful selection of individual shops, an historic pier, Saturday market, hotels, bars and restaurants while Tides swimming pool complex is also easily accessible".
