This stretch of Marina was designed by James Burton who designed much of Kew Gardens and the important Glass Palm house at Kew. James Burton was probably the most significant builder of St Leonards on Sea and Georgian London, responsible for large areas of Bloomsbury, St Johns Wood, Clapham Common and collaborated with John Nash at Regent's Park.

Located in one of St Leonards On Sea most desirable and sought after residential enclaves the property is close to the Norman Road and benefits from a frontline seafront position on Marina which offer numerous restaurants and a vibrant foodie scene. The beach and promenade are opposite the property and Hastings town is short stroll away. Artist open houses run through the spring months along with summer fairs and street parties. Looking for an evening out? Kino-Teatr Picture house is one of the best in the area along with great local pubs serving good food (try The St Leonard, Wine Shed and St Clements). Excellent local shops including Shop and Love cafe serving the best coffee and scrumptious things. St Leonards Warrior square station is moments away with a direct link to Charing Cross and Victoria (1h:30 mins) and Brighton accessible within 50 mins perfect for commuters.

Hastings has the largest fishing fleet in Europe that is launched from a beach, which is known as the Stade. The Castle built by William the Conqueror but now in ruins is at the top of West Hill and offers wonderful views of the area and Channel. The steepest funicular railway in Britain takes passengers from the Old Town up to the Castle.

There are many other attractions in Hastings and St Leonards On Sea, both architectural and cultural. The fantastic Hastings pier (recently awarded pier of the year) hosts numerous live gigs and shows and is a wonderful place to visit. The town hosts several events throughout the year, which include the Hastings Half Marathon, the Jack in the Green Festival, Hastings Beer Festival, Coastal Currents and the Old Town Carnival.
