Buyers will need to provide the following documents to the housing associations appointed Independent Financial Advisor. If they are buying with a friend or partner, copies of their documents are also needed:

Photo page of passport (and visas if applicable)
Payslips covering the last three consecutive months and latest P60 for employed applicants or the last three years of audited accounts and SA302 forms with accompanying Tax Year Overview from the hmrc for self employed applicants
Itemised bank statement covering the last three consecutive months. This should show salary and rental payments
Proof of savings or a gift letter accompanied by evidence of available funds that must be sufficient to cover buying costs and a mortgage deposit
Current loan and credit card statements covering the last three consecutive months
Two items of proof of your residential address for example a utility bill or council tax bill. Mobile phone bills are not an acceptable form of proof of address.
