Wildlife: The pond and garden are a haven for wildlife. Throughout the year the garden and pond change with the seasons and attract a variety of wildlife. For most of the year ducks and moorhens live on the pond which contains a small island with duck house. In early spring and summer, the garden blooms magnificently and there will be ducklings and moorhen chicks on the pond and in and around the garden. Amongst other visitors you may see are Canadian geese, the occasional heron looking for fish and very occasionally the iridescent flash of a kingfisher.
