Perfect investment property – Recently renovated second floor apartment in a purpose built block with a successful rental history. The apartment has a double bedroom, open plan lounge/diner/kitchen and a bathroom which has a full suite. The property benefits further from: Recently fitted uPVC windows and doors, new redecoration, new aqua lock style flooring throughout and extensive views to the rear over Choppington, with the Cheviots in the distance and elevated views to the front from the balcony. There are communal grounds and green space and plenty of unrestricted off street parking. All mains services are connected.

Choppington is a village in south east Northumberland, England, about 17 miles (27 km) north of Newcastle upon Tyne. It lies across the River Wansbeck from Ashington (approx. 3 miles), along with Stakeford, about halfway between the busier larger Towns of Ashington and Morpeth (approx. 4 miles) where more extensive shopping and leisure facilities can be found. There are also superb secondary and higher education facilities and a train station.

Wider facilities are available in the nearby town of Morpeth was recently voted one of the Sunday Times best places to live in Britain, Morpeth town combines stylish shops, a wide range of restaurants and bars, as well as a beautiful park and the William Turner garden. As would be expected in a large town there are supermarkets, doctor's surgeries, dentists, a large leisure centre, golf course, and a lovely stretch of the River Wansbeck to walk along. Morpeth offers excellent schools, leisure facilities, shops, restaurants and pubs. There is easy access to the A1 for commuting to Newcastle city centre and good public transport links with regular bus services into Morpeth town centre and the nearby train station for services to Newcastle, Edinburgh, York and London Kings Cross.

Stairs lead up to the property, across the landing and entrance is through a uPVC front door straight in to the lobby area.

On the left we have the bathroom which comprises: A newly fitted WC, grey bath with a shower over and a grey pedestal washbasin. The walls are fully tiled in a pale grey tile and the floor is a pale grey aqua lock tile which has a wood grain effect.

From here we go back across the lobby and there is a door which leads us through to the open plan lounge/diner/kitchen. This area is filled with light due to its dual aspect and has a large galzed door, leading out to a balcony, to one end with ceiling to floor windows on either side of it. The balcony offers far reaching views. The room benefits further from an all-important large storage cupboard which is also home to the boiler.

At the opposite end of this space we have a fitted kitchen with: Light oak wall and floor units, stainless steel sink with a mixer tap over, space for a cooker, space for a fridge and plumbing for a washing machine. Behind the complimentary grey and black laminate work surfaces there are cream square tiles, there is a smoke alarm and chrome spotlights to the ceiling.

Off from the lounge there is a spacious, light and airy double bedroom with a large picture window over the rear elevation.

This is a perfect investor property which has benefitted from a comprehensive program of works and is ready to rent out. There is an extensive rental history with a rental income of £325 pcm. The neighbouring block is currently undergoing refurbishment which will enhance the whole site. The property is well situated for access to Morpeth and Ashington and is in close proximity to shops, schools and transport links. There is a regular bus service providing access to Morpeth, Ashington and Newcastle City Centre.
