The Bonningstedt Parade Development is a three year plan that began in July 2017. In addition to the beach huts, part of the larger Seafront Development Plan includes new toilet facilities and a café/restaurant which will be protected from the elements with a low-level defence wall.

Specification
The beach huts are manufactured using glass fibre reinforced polyester (grp) which carries a 5-year manufacturer's warranty. The general construction of the building is 2.7kg (per 2M) of csm saturated with fire-retardant coating. The fire rating of the building externally complies with a class 2 fire rating and the interior complies with a class 1/10, BS476 part 7 1997. The door carries a 10-year warranty subject to exclusions (door furniture 5 years).
