Luxury Living in a Grade II* listed house

Malmesbury is an ancient town dominated by its historic Abbey and reputed to be England's oldest borough. The town offers an excellent range of everyday facilities including a Waitrose as well as a number of pubs and restaurants. Other local centres include Tetbury, Cirencester and Chippenham whilst more specialist shops and cultural activities can be found in Bath and Bristol.

The area has a number of highly regarded private schools which include Westonbirt, Beaudesert Park, St Marys Calne, Marlborough College and those in Bath and Cheltenham. Malmesbury School is rated outstanding by Ofsted.

Recreational and Sporting facilities in the area include Racing at Cheltenham and Bath, Polo at Cirencester Park and Westonbirt, Eventing at Badminton and Gatcombe, Golf at Castle Coombe, Chippenham, Bowood and Westonbirt and Watersports at The Cotswold Water Park. In addition nearby places of interest include The National Arboretum at Westonbirt, the National Trust properties at Lacock and Dyrham Park, Bowood House and the historic village of Castle Coombe.

The property is also well placed for the commuter being accessible to both Junctions 16 and 17 of the M4 which provides fast access to the East and West where it links with the M5. There are regular main line train services from Chippenham, Kemble and Swindon to London Paddington taking just over 60 minutes.

Malmesbury Manor is a unique and completely renovated manor house in the centre of the ever popular market town of Malmesbury.

The renovated house is over 4000 sqft of accommodation and mixes contemporary design with traditional features. All four floors are bound by the stunning grade II* listed Jacobean staircase. Internal accommodation comprises on the ground floor Kitchen breakfast room with doors into the garden, Dining room, Drawing room, snug, hall and inner hall. Upstairs there are three further floors which include four spacious bedrooms and four bathrooms. The top floor also has a study and music room which could be used as additional bedrooms should they be required.

Externally there is parking for two cars and and large terrace area which lends itself perfectly for al fresco dining.

Square Footage: 4000 sq ft

From Junction 17 of the M4 take the A429 North to Malmesbury. As you enter Malmesbury take the 1st exit off the first roundabout. Proceed for 0.7 miles up the high street and at the end of the road take the right at the T junction. The Malmesbury Manor is found on your left hand side after approximately 100 yards.

Although there is parking at the house we recommend parking at the nearby the Market Square car park for your initial visit. If you continue past the house take a right at the end of the road and the car park can be found on your right hand side.
