Dunoon town centre is approximately 4 miles along the shore. Dunoon is recognised as the marine gateway to Scotland’s first national park and offers a variety of shopping and leisure outlets including two supermarkets, general post office, leisure centre, restaurants, doctors surgeries, hospital and local family run cinema. A regular bus service operates from Dunoon Pier.

Argyll Ferries offer a regular passenger service sailing to Gourock Pier with a train connection to Glasgow Central Station. Western Ferries also offer a more frequent car/passenger service sailing from Hunter’s Quay to McInroys Point, Gourock with bus connection to Buchanan Street, Glasgow. Dunoon is set within the rural heart of the Cowal Peninsula but is only just over an hours commute time to Glasgow International Airport and surrounding areas.
