A delightful 3 bedroom terraced home requiring some refurbishment in the popular waterside village of Flushing. Within easy reach of the quay where a year-round ferry connects to Falmouth.

A superb opportunity to purchase a non-listed character home in the heart of Flushing. Requiring modernisation, the house is offered as a blank canvas for a potential buyer. Providing surprisingly well proportioned, three-bedroomed accommodation in this sought-after village.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a first-floor bathroom with three-piece suite. An extensive loft area provides scope may offer additional space for extension, subject to obtaining the necessary permissions.

The gardens to the rear are a feature and comprise a courtyard with granite steps, shared with the neighbouring property, which lead to private terraced gardens from where there are particularly sunny, southerly and westerly views over the village, to the Greenbank area of Falmouth.

With the benefit of immediate vacant possession with no onward chain, we strongly recommend interested prospective purchasers arrange an early viewing appointment.

Fabulous Flushing – Historic village with period homes on the banks of Falmouth Harbour

The village of Flushing is much sought-after, partly due no doubt to its proximity to some of the best sailing waters in the country. The surrounding countryside is extremely picturesque and designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

It was settled in the 17th century by a Dutch community; subsequently several ships' captains made their home there including Captain Dowman, onetime owner of the clipper Cutty Sark who lived nearby at Trevissome House. Admiral Lord Nelson is also purported to have owned a house in the village.

Falmouth (three miles by road, or across the harbor by year-round passenger ferry from Flushing Quay) offers a good range of shopping and educational facilities while the Cathedral City of Truro is 10 miles distant and is the commercial centre for the county with a first class range of shops, public and private sector schools, regional hospital, theatre etc.

There are yacht marinas at Falmouth and Mylor Churchtown (1¾ miles). Golf at Falmouth and various beaches in the general area.
