Otherwise known as The Old King's House because of the area's association with Harold Godwin (of Battle of Hastings fame), part of this property is believed to date back to 1150. A particularly attractive building with lots of character commanding panoramic views over mid Devon and across the border to Cornwall, some modernisation is required, and this is an opportunity for someone to create a delightful family home.

To locate the property from the A.30 dual carriageway, proceed around Okehampton and take the exit signposted Bude. Proceed along the A3079 and through Halwill Junction. After a further 3 miles, turn left at the junction onto the A3072 signposted Holsworthy. After about 2 miles, do not take the turning signposted Hollacombe, but proceed a further mile to Anvil Corner. Signposted Hollacombe and Ashwater. Turn left here. After a quarter of a mile do not turn left signposted Hollacombe, but take the following turning left at the brown camping site sign at Staddon Cross. Proceed along this road for approximately three quarters of a mile and Lanes Farm will be clearly seen on the right hand side.
