A block of mature woodland extending to approximately 6.62 acres (2.68 hectares) on the outskirts of Spennymoor, County Durham. All rights of sporting and fishing included.
The woodland at Valley Burn presents an excellent opportunity to purchase a block of deciduous ancient woodland, extending to approximately 6.62 acres (2.68 hectares). The woodland forms part of a larger woodland known as Spring Wood/Trotter Wood and would be suited to those seeking a manageable amount of amenity land for lifestyle purposes. The fishing and sporting rights are included in the sale of the property insofar as they are owned. The woodland is in an accessible location and is bordered to the north, east and south by further woodland, and to the west by residential properties.
Location The woodland is located to the north of Spennymoor in County Durham as shown on the attached plans. Durham City lies approximately 6 miles to the north, and Bishop Auckland lies approximately 6 miles to the west.
Directions Heading west from Spennymoor High Street, take the third exit at the roundabout onto Carr Street/Carr Lane. After approximately 1 mile, after the sharp bend in the road, the woodland will be on your left hand side. The approximate postcode is DL16 6XN, however attention should be paid to the detailed plan attached.
Services Access to the woodland can be taken on foot from Carr Lane via a footpath. At present there is no vehicular access into the woodland.
