Description

This detached house is set in a rural village location and has accommodation extending to just over 1100 sq. Ft. With a garage and pretty landscaped garden. The house is set back from the lane behind a lawned front garden and established tree. A drive leads down to a garage at the side and has space to comfortably park three/four vehicles. You enter the house through a front door which is sheltered from the inclement weather by a handy storm porch and arrive in the reception hall. The hall has a cloaks cupboard and handy downstairs cloakroom/WC. Stairs ascend to the first floor and a door leads to the rear of the house into the Sitting room. A lovely south facing room overlooking the garden with hard-wearing floor and patio doors giving access out. A further door leads back towards the front of the house into the Kitchen. The kitchen has been extended on the side and is partially open plan to a conservatory. The kitchen area is fitted with a good range of storage cupboards arranged in a u-shape with a rolled edge worktop offering ample space for food preparation. The worktop partially divides the kitchen and conservatory and is inset with a stainless steel sink unit. There is space for a cooker and washing machine. The conservatory has doors to the rear and space for a dining table and four chairs.

Having ascended the stairs you arrive on a first floor landing from where doors radiate to the three bedrooms and bathroom. Bedroom one is a double bedroom with built in bedroom furniture. Bedrooms two and three are small double size rooms. There is a vanity sink unit in the main bedroom and all the rooms are serviced by a family shower room with double shower cubicle, low level WC, bidet and sink. Outside the rear garden is mainly lawned and surrounded by established flower and shrub boarders. Adjacent to the rear and running to the side of the house is a large patio area ideal for alfresco dining and the garden is complete with timber fencing.

Little Yeldham is a small village in North Essex, approximately one mile north east of Great Yeldham. The village has a pretty church at its centre and is surrounded by countryside. The land around is principally used for arable farming and some livestock rearing, intertwined with miles and miles of countryside walks to explore. The larger village of Great Yeldham near by, is well equipped with a fish and chip shop, local store, veterinary practice, public house and The White Hart inn (Great for Sunday lunches and special occasions) St. Andrews church and St. Andrews Primary school.

The nearby towns of Sudbury (7 Miles) and Halstead (8 miles) are both attractive traditional market towns, offering a variety of independent shops and eateries together with larger supermarkets and traditional markets. Both towns boast medical centres, dental practices, cottage hospital: Schooling for all ages and a number of leisure opportunities including leisure centres and swimming pools. The closest state secondary school is Hedingham School (4 miles away) with additional private schooling nearby in Gosfield (8 Miles)

For the commuter there is a branch line railway station in Sudbury which connects to Marks Tey and onto Liverpool Street with an approximate journey time of 90 minutes. Junction 8 of the M11 at Bishops Stortford and Stansted Airport are 25 miles to the west.
