Description

The property

Located on a peaceful avenue in Castle Bromwich this delightful detached family home will impress all viewers. The property is superbly presented both inside and out and this begins as viewers approach the home with its neatly designed tarmac driveway with block-paved border and a white-stoned gravel patch to enhance the kerb appeal. The ground floor has been extended to the front with a sloping roof that provides a canopy for a storm porch as viewers take the main front door to enter the home.

As viewers enter, they will find themselves in a good-sized hallway with staircase ahead and doors leading to the lounge on the left and home office to the right. There is plenty of space to remove coats and shoes and a handy recess to store them out of the way. Moving into the lounge, this magnificent reception room has an abundance of space for the new owners to position a sofa suite around the feature gas fireplace. There is a lovely bay window at the front of the lounge and laid under-foot is real wood flooring. It’s worth noting that all exterior windows and doors are double-glazed.

Taking the door to the rear of the lounge, viewers will be delighted to find a high spec, bespoke fitted kitchen. The units have hi-gloss frontages with granite work surfaces, and these are perfectly complemented by high quality Amtico flooring. Integrated appliances include the chest height double oven, microwave, five-burner gas hob with stylish extractor fan, dishwasher and two refrigerators. To the right-hand side of the room is a wide-open space, ideal for a large family dining table to be positioned in front of the large set of French doors. The door to the right of the dining area opens through to a welcome utility room where there is space for a large freezer.

The home office at the front right of the house has been cleverly converted from the garage and is large enough to be considered as a fifth bedroom. Ideal for a teenager or elderly relative, the potential for the fifth bedroom is further enhanced by the ground floor shower room to the rear of the office which would work very well as an en suite. The shower room comprises of a tall rectangular shower cubicle, wash hand basin, toilet and a heated towel rail. The shower room also features the airing cupboard containing the central heating combi-boiler and plumbing for a washing machine.

Moving upstairs, the landing area takes the form of a corridor with doors leading off to all four bedrooms and the family bathroom. There is also a deep storage cupboard that was originally featured the hot water tank, but this has been cleverly replaced with a radiator to ensure that it remains as an airing cupboard. The family bathroom is located at the far end of the landing to the left of the house and features a stylish suite that includes a shower fitted over the bathtub, wash hand basin, toilet and heated towel rail. To the rear of the first floor are bedrooms three and four. Bedroom three is a fabulous double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and bedroom four is a generous single bedroom.

The master bedroom in this home is a very impressive size as it spans the full width of the original build, with a fitted slide door wardrobe making excellent of the space above the staircase and hallway. Natural light to the master bedroom is provided by two front windows. The extended part of the first floor is allocated to the second bedroom which is another fabulous double bedroom with windows to the front and rear.

Finishing out to the rear of the property, the garden of the property has been excellently designed and well maintained by the current owners. There are exits from the dining area’s French doors and a door from the utility room, the latter leading out onto wonderful raised decking with a pergola erected over. Viewers will walk from the decking onto a patio seating area before a step rises up to the lawn. This plush lawn is surrounded by more slabs and has attractive shrubs and plants to the borders.

Two garden sheds are positioned to the far corners of the garden with another raised decking area in the centre that provides the focal point of the garden, particularly at night when feature lighting is lit. Finally, there is a secure gate to the side of the property that provides a route between the front and rear without needing to pass through the house.
