I was very excited to have a look around this property; a unique find in the heart of Tiverton.

This era of property will always be my favourite - they certainly knew how to build houses in the 1930's and 3 Brickhouse Hill is no exception.

The bungalow has a lovely presence in this popular road and its kerb appeal is quite alluring, with its original soft red brick curves under the pretty bay windows. With its block pavier driveway, well kept lawn, hanging baskets and tubs and pretty arched gateway to the side, I just knew this was going to be a lovely home to look around.

Downstairs has a traditional layout with a porch leading to a central hallway. The dining room and sitting room are at the front of the house, each benefitting from those lovely curved bay windows. The sitting room has a corner fireplace with inset coal effect gas fire. The dining room could possibly be used as a bedroom, making this property extremely versitile.

There is a study at the rear, which could equally be used as a third bedroom and this leads out to the conservatory overlooking the beautiful readr garden. The family bathroom, kitchen and utility/wc complete the rooms on the ground floor. The kitchen has a range of matching units and there is space for a breakfast table and chairs. The former brickbuilt fireplace is a nice feature in this room.

Upstairs are two double bedrooms each with under eave storage and one with an en-suite shower room.

The gardens to the rear are perfect! Beautifully maintained and presented, they are reminiscent of a cottage garden in my opinion, but on a slightly larger scale. There is a greenhouse and vegetable garden nicely tucked away to one side, with the majority laid to a beautiful level lawn, with pretty natural stone borders, trees, established shrubs and stepping stones. There is a patio to the rear of the property which is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the garden of your new home. Our lovely vendors have dressed this area beautifully with lots of pots and tubs bursting with seasonal flowers; it is a real show of colour.

In all, what a great place to live, so close to town yet tucked away with a super garden. I didn't know this part of Tiverton existed before visiting this house and I was really pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth a viewing!
