Four Bedroom Linked Detached House For Sale
Located within Martins Wood which offers a selection of local shops and businesses, whilst more comprehensive amenities can be found in the town centre or old town. There is also excellent access to London via the A1 junction 7 or 8 and the Stevenage station which provides access to Kings Cross.
The Seller’s view - "Patio doors from our dining area and utility space lead fantastically on to our incredibly private, sun trap garden, our decked area is a great space to entertain, the grassed area is a great space for our boy to kick a ball and we also have access to large outhouse spaces. Internally a large welcoming hallway provides access to all reception rooms and the kitchen, Our storage cupboards is a convenient space to shut away the hoover and ironing board etc. A door between the living room and kitchen/diner provides comfort when keeping an ear one the little ones. As it is the dining space has fit eight at Christmas and is adjacent to the outside patio area for BBQ's in the summer. The living room is a lovely size, it's provided an excellent space to sit down on Saturday evenings and get cozy watching a film as a family. Our utility space is incredibly convenient for keeping the house tidy and has plumbing for a washing machine and tumble dryer, some of our neighbours have converted this space into a downstairs shower room. The downstairs loo is very convenient when guests are over, this just prevents them from needing to go upstairs.
Ricky's view - A short walk to the shops is useful when you've ran out of an ingredient or missed something off the shopping list, they're located on the same parade of shops where you will find the pharmacy, cafe and community centre as well. Plenty of open green spaces are on your door step too, excellent for morning/evening strolls which hosts many dog walkers and runners. Two of the four bedrooms upstairs easily fit a double bed and the bathroom off the landing has two sinks if you're ever in a rush. Many local residents are able to walk their children too and from school living here, removing the stresses of the school run. The current homeowners have informed me how friendly the neighbours are, how they look out for each other and take parcels in if needs be.
