Sellers Comments-
Ashdene Gardens has been the perfect balance for us - a peaceful, friendly community just minutes from the heart of Reading. We’ve loved how privileged the location is: A quiet and safe street, Prospect Park on the doorstep for peaceful walks, and effortless access into town via four frequent bus routes or a 5 minute drive. It’s as convenient as city living gets, yet with the calm and space of a tucked-away neighbourhood.

The flat itself has been our green sanctuary. With generous ceiling height, ample storage and garden views through the trees, the home is constantly flooded with natural light from south-facing windows and has a bright, airy and private feel throughout the day. We’ve loved the spacious living room, two full bathrooms and well-proportioned bedrooms - it has always felt comfortable, stylish and easy to live in. The building also benefits from a lift that can easily accommodate a wheelchair or pram, for accessibility and convenience. One of the things we’ll miss most are our slow weekend mornings, enjoying coffee with sunlight pouring in and nothing but the sound of birds outside.

There is a strong sense of community here, with neighbours who look out for each other and children playing safely in the street. It has been a wonderful first home for us, and we’re sad to leave, but we know it will be a peaceful and happy place for its next owners.

Kiel's Comments-
i’m delighted to present this beautifully finished two-bedroom first floor apartment in Ashdene Gardens, Reading. A modern home built circa 2004, quietly set within a peaceful conservation area just moments from Prospect Park and Reading town centre.

From the moment you step inside, there’s an immediate sense of calm and care. The home has been lovingly maintained and upgraded by the current owners, offering a stylish, move-in-ready space with a warm and welcoming feel.

The light-filled living area, framed by a box bay window, provides generous space for relaxing, working from home, or even creating a play area for young families. The modern kitchen includes built-in appliances, a gas hob, and plenty of storage - perfect for those who enjoy cooking and entertaining.

Both bedrooms are well-proportioned, complemented by built-in wardrobes and a large storage cupboard in the hallway as well as gas central heating throughout. Outside, the property enjoys allocated parking plus ample visitor bays and green space, all set within a quiet no-through road - giving you the best of both convenience and tranquility.

This is a home that truly balances comfort and practicality, ideal for first-time buyers, downsizers, or professionals looking for a peaceful setting within easy reach of Reading’s vibrant centre.

Area View-
Ashdene Gardens enjoys a prime position in one of Reading’s most peaceful residential pockets, surrounded by mature trees and character homes that reflect its conservation area charm.

Prospect Park is less than a 10-minute stroll away - perfect for weekend walks, morning runs, or family picnics while Reading town centre is just 1.5 miles from your door, offering a fantastic range of shops, cafés, and restaurants.

For commuters, Reading Station provides direct services to London Paddington in around 25 minutes, with easy links to the Elizabeth Line and M4 (Junction 11) for access to Heathrow and beyond. Local schools, supermarkets, and leisure facilities are all close at hand, giving the area a great balance of greenery and convenience.

Ashdene Gardens itself is a quiet no-through development, with a friendly community feel and well-kept surroundings. A lovely place to call home.
