The A83 is nearby and is the main trunk road which connects Lochgilphead with Glasgow in the south. There is a local bus service to and from Glasgow city.

The Crinan Canal is nearby, with Crinan harbour, and its sheltered yacht moorings some 10 miles distant, providing ready access to the Hebrides and some of the most beautiful scenery in the Scottish West Highlands. The area offers much in the way of outdoor pursuits, including water sports such as sailing and canoeing, on and off road cycle routes and walks. Sea, river and loch fishing are also available.

Travel Directions
From Lochgilphead proceed in a southerly direction on the A83. Continue for 2.6 miles. Turn right on to the minor road marked as a T Junction. Continue down the minor road for about 0.3 miles before turning right onto the driveway of 1 Silvercraigs.
