There’s lots more choice in the surrounding villages too, with Jumerira Indian Restaurant at Staplehurst, The Mulberry Tree at Boughton Monchelsea, The Hawkenbury Inn in Hawkenbury all highly recommended. Head into Maidstone or Royal Tonbridge Wells for an even wider selection, with something for everyone, from a family treat at a famous chain to an intimate romantic dinner for two.

Education

The nearest school is Marden Primary School, which is only a five-minute walk away. Transport

The Parsonage development is located in the beautiful Kent village of Marden. This is just nine miles from Maidstone and 15 miles from Tonbridge, making it a convenient location for commuters. The village is situated near to the A229, which goes to Maidstone and the M20, providing links to Ashford, Folkestone and London. The nearest train station is in the village itself, where you will find regular services to Paddock Wood, Staplehurst and Ashford International, which provides connections with cross-channel services. There is also a station at Beltring, seven miles away, which offers trains to Tonbridge, Strood and Maidstone.
