Hastings Park is a growing community on the southern edge of Ashby and is a ideal haven for families of all sizes, with play parks on your doorstep. Located in the National Forest, Ashby is surrounded by woodland trails and discovery centres which make a great day out for afternoon strolls or entertaining little ones. The town is also home to Hood Park Leisure Centre with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gym and sports halls.
Ashby is a popular choice with families thanks to its excellent schooling. Several primary schools including Ashby Church of England Primary School cater for children aged up to 11 and then Ivanhoe Specialist Technology College and Ashby School, a specialist technology and language centre, provide education from age 11 to 18.
Ashby's town centre is home to a number of high street stores including Boots, WH Smith, Dorothy Perkins and New Look. For designer shopping, Birmingham is just a 40 minute drive.
Hastings Park is a great choice if you have a daily commute, with the M42 just minutes away which links to the M1 and A50 in the north, and the A511 taking you through nearby Coalville to the M1 sound bound. East Midlands Parkway railway station is just 25 minutes away, where you can catch direct trains to London in as little as 90 minutes.
Ashby Health Centre located close to Ashby's town centre on North Street offers a range of medical services including GP appointments and a range of clinics and services. Market Street Dental Practice is also located centrally in the town. The closest accident and emergency hospital can be found in Burton-upon-Trent.
Hastings Park is located just off Dunbar Way in Ashby de la Zouch. It is easily accessed from the town centre. From Wood Street in the town centre, turn on to The Range. Follow the road round until it becomes Leicester Road. Continue down the road and you will see signs for Hastings Park on the left hand side.
