McCarthy & Stone - Penwortham, PR1
SUBJECT TO PLANNING
A new McCarthy & Stone development is subject to planning in the attractive town of Leek. Once approved, construction of the Retirement Living complex will begin in spring 2018, with reservations being taken from late 2018. We anticipate welcoming our first homeowners in late summer 2019. The charming town of Penwortham is set to gain a new McCarthy & Stone Retirement Living development. Once complete, the complex will feature 30 one bed and 21 two bed apartments, exclusively available for the over 60s.
Our Retirement Living apartments are finished to the highest quality, with every feature retirees could hope for in order to ensure a luxurious and independent retirement lifestyle. Each apartment will feature a fully fitted kitchen with fridge, oven, hob and hood, as well as TV and telephone connection points in the living room and main bedroom. Selected apartments will have the added luxury of patios, which will overlook the landscaped gardens. We ensure the safety and security of our residents with the latest security technology. There will be a camera entry system in every apartment, so that residents can see who their visitors are before allowing them entry to the complex. Each home will also benefit from a burglar alarm, and smoke detectors will be fitted throughout the development.
From the on-site House Manager to help new residents settle in and deal with any queries or issues, to the sociable Homeowners’ Lounge with Wi-Fi, new residents will be made to feel right at home. Meet your new neighbours in the communal spaces, explore the pretty landscaped gardens, and even hire a mobility scooter from the store on site. Maintain your independence when you retire to McCarthy & Stone in Penwortham, which has lifts to all floors of the development for ease of access, as well as a 24-hour call system to give Homeowners peace of mind. As the development is only 0.2 miles from the town centre, residents will be able to walk to the shops, cafes, restaurants and bus stops with connections to nearby towns and villages.
