The city and the surrounding area offer a vast array of leisure activities. The coastline is famous for surfing and a number of surf schools are nearby. Neighbouring seaside towns and villages all offer great activities for days out including Cornish boat hire and river cruises. For those who enjoy being active, Truro Leisure Centre has a pool, fitness suite and sports hall, and nearby, golfers can enjoy Truro Golf Course.

The city is also famous for fantastic architecture, the epitome of which is Truro Cathedral. Its famous gothic revival style can be seen over the city's rooftops, and its three spires make it one of only three in the UK. Newquay airport is only 20 miles away and offers regular flights to London Gatwick and the services are expanding all the time.

Directions

From the A30 southbound, at the roundabout take the second exit onto the A39. At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Newquay Road/A39. Turn right onto Tregolls Road/A39/A390. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto Marlaix Avenue/A39. At the next roundabout, take the second exit and stay on Marlaix Avenue/A39. Continue onto Green Lane/A390 and, shortly, the development will be on your right.
