Famous for its mills and distinct character, Framlingham is a market town of Anglo-Saxon origin in the coastal district of Suffolk. Rich in history and with a close-knit community, the town is a Conservation Area with some 74 listed buildings, including its very own medieval castle.

Framlingham and its surrounding area offers plenty of visitor attractions. Places of interest include Easton Farm Park, Orford Castle, Saxtead Green Post Mill, Leiston Abbey, the Long Shop Museum, Bentwaters Cold War Museum, Minsmere Nature Reserve, Orford Ness National Nature Reserve, and Helingham Hall Gardens.
Within the town itself, residents can enjoy following the Framlingham Town Trail. Marked with metal plaques, the circular trail leads visitors around the town whilst providing an interesting and comprehensive historical tour of Framlingham.
