From the living area there is a hallway leading to a large double bedroom with fitted cupboards. A door leads from the bedroom back out on to the top floor front facing terrace. Views look over the mountains from the bedroom and also to the sea from the terrace.

Also on the top floor is a large cupboard and a fully fitted and tiled family bathroom.
At the end of the hall is another exit leading to the side garden and outdoor traditional bbq.

The garden is large and has 8 mature olive trees.

It is tiered to give plenty of flat space for sunbeds, seating areas and the potential of a large pool. A 4m wide curved area is laid to tile, leading down the side of the house to the front and the ground floor entrance.

The property could be used either as a permanent residence or as a holiday home.

About the area:

Crete is the largest Island in Greece. It has wonderful weather all year round, with hot summers and mild winters. The Lassithi area is directly East of Heraklion. The house being situated only a 30 minute drive from the centre of the City.

The house is close to the tourist areas of Milatos, Sissi and Herssonisos. Agios Nikolaos is a 20 minute drive East with it’s beautiful tavernas, fresh water lake and bustling shopping area. A 40 minute drive takes you to the area of Elounda which is a beautiful seaside town with access to the historical island of Spinalonga.

Within easy drive of Pyrgos are a golf course, water park, Water sports, and multiple diving centres. Plenty of tavernas for evenings out and if you want the bustling night life the tourist areas 5km away can offer all night clubbing.

There is a lovely family owned tavern a 10 minute walk from the property, with the seaside village of Sissi only a 5 minute drive away. Sissi has lots of sea front tavernas overlooking a pretty harbour. It’s a pretty tourist village with all emanities including supermarkets, a small beach and plenty of pleasant multinational bars.

The main beach is a 2 km drive away with a beach front taverna, lots of sun loungers and sunshades. The beach is several miles long with golden sand and a gentle slope into the sea. There is a rocky area for great snorkelling.

To the south is the Lasithi plateau with it’s famous windmills and the birth place of Zeus, Dikti caves. The house has views of the Lasithi range of mountains. In the winter there is often snow in the mountains. The roads are all new and well maintained so access to the plateau is all year round, regardless of weather.

To the south west is the Cretan wine region offering vineyard tours, hidden villages and vineyards as far as the eye can sea.
Directly south of the area is Ierepetra. This sits on the coast facing the Libyan sea. Giving it calm waters and wonderful beaches.Along the coast are famous caves and discrete beaches.
